This past weekend the most widely distributed paper in the 50th district, The Washington Post, endorsed Jeanette Rishell for the November 3rd election. The Post cited Jeanette opponent’s ability to campaign on one thing but “once in Richmond he dropped the subject”.

The Post went on to praise Jeanette as “A smart civic activist”. Recognizing the importance of the upcoming budget issues facing our community the Post believes that Jeanette is “more likely to be effective in the upcoming funding battles for education and transportation.”

Over the course of this campaign Jeanette has talked to thousand of voters who agree that Manassas needs a new day. Manassas needs a solution to our transportation problems. Manassas needs a plan for new jobs. Manassas needs a Delegate who will stand up for us, not one who will make what the News and Messanger labeled a “Devil’s Bargin” when turning his back on sick children.
